Mo, a regular, brought us fresh peaches today. She walked in through the side kitchen door with a 1/2 peck of fuzzy fruit, a few worm wholes attesting to their life far away from the pesticide confines of the produce aisle. And as quickly as she came in, she left.
We have some of the loveliest customers.
And in honor of Mo and her juicy generosity, I present the "Peach Mo." Puff pastry, a delicate rose of lightened pastry cream topped with fresh peaches and three plump local blueberries.
