I wish it was coming out sooner because my best friend is having a baby soon, and she is a talented artist who is painting/drawn a picture of a bird every single day of 2010 (a few here-> http://clairescribbles.blogspot.com/) Once she found out she was pregnant, she found herself drawing more nests and baby birds. I think that your boxy bird cake topped with a spun sugar nest would be absolutely perfect for her baby shower. But I digress. Beautiful work, lady!
